With the current real estate investment trend, it appears that Americans would like an alternative to the traditional real estate agent role. In a recent study conducted by Harris Interactive, Americans said they most respected the professions of scientist (57%), firefighter (55%) and doctor (52%). The least respected profession was real estate agent (6%) followed by stockbroker (8%).
